Jon Fidler
Founder / CEO
As the Founder & CEO of Fidler and Associates, Jon has a proven track record of building high-performing teams by connecting exceptional talent with promising opportunities. His expertise in talent recognition was initially cultivated during his tenure with the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball, where he played key roles in the Scouting and Player Development Departments. In this capacity, Jon not only excelled in identifying the potential prospects physical talents but also in nurturing and harnessing that talent to catalyze the formation of championship-caliber teams throughout the organization.
Over the past 18 years, Jon has directed his expertise toward the dental industry, where he has consistently placed accomplished executives across the nation for DSO’s, MSO’s, multi-location groups, manufacturers, distributors, and other healthcare related organizations. Throughout his career, Jon has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in recruiting, training, and cultivating award-winning employees and executives. A proud alumnus of the University of Iowa, Jon currently calls Austin, TX home, where he resides with his wife Michele, their two children Makena and Karsten, and their beloved mini-dachshund, Doug.
Dr. Benjy Nemec
Chief Experience Officer
After growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas, Benjamin moved to Austin in 1991 and attended The University of Texas, falling in love with the city and people of the capital city. Dental school took him to San Antonio and the nation’s highest rated program at The University of Texas Health Science Center where he finished his residency and graduated in 1998. Benjamin returned to Austin and started the first of two dental practices, The Austin Center for Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2002, he founded his second practice, The Hills Dental Spa and watched them grow to multi-doctor and multi-million dollar businesses.
During his almost 20 years of practicing dentistry and managing dental practices, he experienced the frustrations of finding and hiring quality personnel. After retiring as a practitioner in 2017, he decided to help dentists and dental businesses have successful experiences in staffing and team building. Benjamin has always been driven to learn personally and professionally, and is thankful that Fidler & Associates allows him to continue to make positive, life-changing impacts for others.
Benjamin and his wife, Amie, live with their two dogs in the Texas hill country just west of Austin. When not working, he enjoys playing golf and helping his wife at her wine bar, Perspective Cellars, in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Kim has been a vital member of our team since she joined Fidler and Associates in January 2022. She has taken the lead and implemented new structure and organization to our processes, which allows our team to focus on what matters most: our clients and candidates.
Kim spent 16 years with Patterson Dental in Austin, TX leading the customer service department. While in her role, Kim excelled in building strong relationships with customers and friends throughout the dental industry.
Kim received her Associates Degree in Business Administration after graduating high school in her native Lockhart, TX (the home of Texas BBQ). Kim and her husband John have three beautiful daughters - Alexis, Breanna and Kayla. They love spending any free time near water—whether it’s fishing at a local lake or vacationing their favorite island of Jamaica.

Dr. Scott S. De Rossi
Partner/Strategic Advisor
Dr. Scott S. De Rossi is a nationally recognized healthcare executive, educator, and strategic innovator known for transforming organizations at the intersection of dentistry, medicine, technology, and leadership development. A two-time dental school dean and former academic health system CEO, he currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Nexus Integrated Health, Vice President for Strategy; Innovation at Serendequity Partners, and Publisher; Senior Strategic Advisor at MedMark Media, where he leads enterprise strategy, medical-dental integration initiatives, and national thought-leadership platforms.
Across his career, Dr. De Rossi has built and scaled complex organizations in higher education, healthcare delivery, and entrepreneurial ventures. As Founding Dean of the Workman School of Dental Medicine at High Point University, he designed a $75M state-of-the-art institution, grew the HPU Oral Health Network into a regional market leader, and secured more than $32M in philanthropic commitments. Previously, as Dean of the UNC Adams School of Dentistry and CEO of Carolina Dentistry, he reversed multimillion-dollar deficits, generated significant research and philanthropic growth, integrated siloed clinical systems, and established global partnerships through the DentAlliance consortium.
A specialist in oral medicine, Dr. De Rossi has held faculty and clinical appointments at the University of Pennsylvania, UNC-Chapel Hill, the Medical College of Georgia, and Augusta University, where he founded and chaired the Department of Oral Health; Diagnostic Sciences and led nationally recognized interdisciplinary clinics.
He advises companies and boards across the health innovation landscape—including OrthoNu, Halo Digital, Safe’N’Clear, Autodontics, and Crown Biome—and is widely sought for his expertise in leadership development, medical-dental integration, value-based care, strategy execution, and organizational transformation. As Publisher and Editor-in-Chief for six national dental publications at MedMark Media, he championed the movement to position dentistry as healthcare through integrated education, research, and
practice.
Dr. De Rossi holds a DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Augusta University, and board certification in Oral Medicine. He has been recognized as one of Incisal Edge magazine’s “32 Most Influential People in Dentistry,” and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
His superpower is connecting people, ideas, and resources to advance health. He lives in Durham, NC and is happily married to Dr. Katharine N. Ciarrocca. They have two beautiful biological daughters - Sofia and Evangelia, and a chosen son - John.

Her career has been shaped by a strong focus on manufacturing and dealer relationships, helping brands grow through trusted connections and streamlined collaboration.
Throughout her journey, Joy has cultivated high-level industry contacts and partnerships that have consistently driven business success. She is passionate about creating synergy between manufacturers and dealers to achieve shared goals—whether it's launching new products, expanding market reach, or improving customer satisfaction.
Known for her integrity, leadership, and deep industry knowledge, Joy continues to be a trusted resource and connector in the dental space.
